Head of Ural Azerbaijani Community Arrested in Moscow

The head of the Azerbaijani community of the Urals, Shahin Shikhlinski, was brought from Moscow to Yekaterinburg for investigative actions, within the framework of which group arrests of Azerbaijanis had previously taken place.

The Haqqin.az Telegram channel reports that Shikhlinski was arrested while leaving the Azerbaijani embassy. Shikhlinski had been wanted since mid-July. Before that, his son, Mutvalan, was arrested in Yekaterinburg on charges of violence against a public official.
